The latest creative to join Strategy Christchurch is another repeat offender. ‘Flackie’ started his career with us straight out of design school 12 years ago. He cut his teeth on a variety of clients including Kathmandu and the Christchurch Art Gallery, working his way up to gold at the New Zealand Best Design Awards for the Giacometti ‘Shadows’ campaign.
For the last 7 years Chris has been living in the UK working bloody hard. During this time, he has developed branding and creative for a wide variety of clients including The Economist Media Group, Bacardi Global, Heineken, Vodafone, Martini Racing, GE and British Gas. His work has won international awards, including a silver at the prestigious Clio Awards in Miami and Best International Communication at the European Excellence Awards. Recently he’s had work on show at the Mexican Museum of Design (MUMEDI) as well as the OFFF Festival in Barcelona.
Oh, and he’s been running marathons, riding camels, representing Kiwi males on ITV’s ‘Dinner Date’ show, raising $12,000 for Cancer Research UK, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, meeting his namesake and winning the heart of his soon-to-be missus.
Clearly, Chris is one busy man, brimming with energy and ideas. At the heart of his work, he believes in the power of crafting simple ideas and executing them brilliantly. Welcome back to the team Flackie and we look forward to more of your adventures and outstanding creative work.
